Kuźnia is a community café we established in 2012, located at 10 Gościnna Street in Gdańsk.

The beautiful atmosphere of the smallest arcaded house in Żuławy makes this place particularly unique on the map of Gdańsk.

The late Professor Samp used to say that ‘Kuźnia is to Orunia what the Crane is to Gdańsk’. Our café offers a wide selection of homemade cakes, desserts, hot snacks and aromatic drinks. We specialise in organising special events and corporate parties. In the summer, we run a garden at the back of the building with spaces for cyclists. We also organise study visits for domestic and foreign entities, sharing our experience and model of vocational education for young people. The café belongs to a network of social enterprises run by the Social Innovation Foundation. The café's policy reflects the Foundation's goals in the area of vocational education and helping young people from care and educational institutions gain professional experience. We create internships and first jobs for them, which are intended to be a bridge to the open labour market and a successful start to adulthood.
