Gdańsk reads to children

‘Gdańsk Reads to Children’ is a project that has been running since 2011 with co-funding from the City of Gdańsk. The first six meetings, held between May and December 2011, were financed by Saur Neptun Gdańsk S.A.

We took care of this project on the initiative of Małgorzata Brajner, an actress at the Wybrzeże Theatre, and Piotr Białas, who came up with the idea for the project.

Gdańsk Reads to Children is a series of meetings for children and their parents at the Old Town Hall, where they read valuable and beautifully illustrated books together. We believe that reading to children from an early age is valuable for developing imagination, creativity, empathy and, above all, family relationships and bonds.

We meet once a month on a Saturday or Sunday at the Old Town Hall on Korzenna Street in Gdańsk. Everyone interested is welcome to join us.

Detailed dates of the meetings can be found at www.gdanskczytadzieciom.pl
