Social and professional activation

Social and professional activation is a key area of our Foundation's activity. We believe that work that brings satisfaction and financial independence is the key to a happy and dignified life. That is why we implement programmes that support people experiencing difficulties in entering or returning to the labour market and in maintaining employment. We build comprehensive support systems that cover the development of both soft skills and professional skills.

Between 2016 and 2023, in cooperation with the City of Gdańsk and non-governmental partners, we implemented an integrated social and professional activation programme aimed at economically inactive and poor people in work. As part of this programme, we provided support to X beneficiaries, including X people with migration and refugee experience.

Since X, we have been running social enterprises such as SoStayHotel, Kawiarnia Kuźnia, Kawiarnia Parkolada and, until X, Bistro. These social enterprises are places of apprenticeships, internships and first jobs for young people leaving care and other groups at risk of social exclusion. Thanks to our activities, we are a leader in the social economy in Poland, creating space for professional and social development for those most in need. **The Foundation's Social and Professional Activation Programme**
