Volunteering

Individual volunteering

Any adult who wants to help can become a volunteer at the Foundation. Younger people must obtain the consent of their parents or guardians. We define the scope of cooperation with the volunteer and sign a volunteer agreement. We confirm the work performed with a certificate and, at the volunteer's request, prepare references.

Where and how can you help us?

Children's homes in Gdańsk and Gdynia – we need tutoring support, especially in science and foreign languages.
Working with young people from Orunia – at the Gościnna Przystań Dom Sąsiedzki (Neighbourhood House), we support children and young people. We organise a Tutoring Emergency Service, where volunteers share their knowledge. You can get involved by participating in art classes or going on a trip together.
Citizen journalism – the MojaOrunia.pl portal writes about everyday issues in the southern districts of Gdańsk. This is an offer for people interested in journalism who want to develop their skills in writing articles, blogs, etc. We provide support from professionals in citizen journalism.
Neighbourhood House and work with the local community – this is a space for people with ideas and talents that are worth sharing with others. We invite you to co-organise educational, cultural and social events, support seniors and promote local democracy. We offer work in a creative team.

About us

Employee volunteering

As part of the Employee Volunteer Programme, we cooperate in the area of corporate social responsibility with companies and enterprises that want to make a lasting and significant change in the local community. Employee volunteers can get involved in a variety of projects for the local community, such as working with children and young people, helping to renovate and equip our facilities, organising trips to sports and cultural venues, or preparing Christmas hampers – the possibilities are endless.
